ALPORA INNOVATION EUROPE

The ALPORA INNOVATION Europa fund invests in the 30 most innovative, European companies, independent of industry sectors and regions. The companies were determined based on corporate performance indicators and assessed for their individual innovation efficiency. The selection is made in a three-stage process using a plurality of measurable innovation indicators. This unique analytical approach (ICA – Innovation Capability Analytics) is based on scientific research and includes only quantitative criteria. The classification is the basis for the portfolio definition.

ALPORA GLOBAL INNOVATION

The ALPORA GLOBAL INNOVATION invests at least 51% of shares in companies, which have their headquarter in Europe. The Fund is an equity fund that invests primarily in the segment of small & midcap companies, with an efficient innovation performance ratio and are listed on a European stock exchange. The fund management has selected about 30, based on a proprietary selection algorithm for innovation efficiency, taking into account the historical relationship of return to risk.

INNOVATION WORLD LARGE CAPS by AMG & ALPORA

The Innovation World Large Caps by AMG & ALPORA Fund invests worldwide in the largest companies of the so-called ‘Developed Markets’. The fund is denominated in USD (US Dollar) and a CHF tranche is offered in parallel.

The portfolio selection is based on the “ALPORA” method, which evaluates innovative companies according to their innovation efficiency. The innovation efficiency of the companies leads to higher returns, which in principle has a positive effect on the share prices of the companies concerned. This analytical approach is based on scientific research and includes purely quantitative criteria. Title selection is carried out in a three-step procedure using a large number of measurable innovation indicators. In a further step, AMG Fondsverwaltung AG examines the financial strength of the companies selected according to the ALPORA approach and selects the 30 strongest shares.
