Julian is responsible for ALPORA’s product portfolio. His decisions found the basis for the steady success of the funds – and the trust in ALPORA.

Niklas helps to develop and improve our mathematical models according to the latest findings.
Fabian focuses on the area of sustainable innovation and reviews the innovation activities of portfolio companies.
Kilian focuses on fundamental analysis of companies and the application of machine learning algorithms to financial markets.
Leo is our expert for innovation and technology management. He is responsible for the technology division of ALPORA AG and has carried out more than 100 projects in the field of innovation management over the last 20 years. He is a business mathematician and holds a PhD in mathematical statistics from the Universities of Konstanz, Germany and MIT, Boston USA. After several years in the industry, he habilitated at the University of St. Gallen and was winner of the Latsis Prize 2020.
In the following years he was partner and managing director in the management consultancies Andersen and Arthur D. Little. This was followed by a call to the University of Ulm, where he taught and researched for over 10 years. It was there that the foundation for ALPORA was laid. Since October 2018, he has held the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Technology at the University of Liechtenstein.
His focus is on processes and methods of innovation and technology management, Big Data analytics and machine learning, with an emphasis on the connection between innovation and business performance.
Markus is responsible for sales and collaboration with our distribution partners and international sales. Before ALPORA, Markus worked at Credit Suisse and a Marchant Bank as well as consulting firms such as Arthur D.Little and Helbling Business Advisors.
His focus is on strategic-financial corporate and innovation consulting, corporate investment support and investment banking.
In addition to ALPORA, he is a member of various boards of directors of international, listed or private companies from different industries.
Julian is an econophysicist, his area of expertise is the application of mathematical physical models and methods and their financial and managerial interrelationships.
Before ALPORA, Julian worked extensively on the scientific measurement of corporate innovation. In his dissertation, he developed an approach to quantitatively evaluate the innovation efficiency of companies. He graduated with honors in Econophysics, is an ‘e-fellows’ scholar as well as winner of the AIT Technology Forecasting Award.
He is also a lecturer at the SAPS of the University of Ulm and in the MBA program of the University of Liechtenstein, where he gives lectures on technology and innovation management.
Before ALPORA, Ruth worked for several years in marketing and sales management at well-known IT companies. As Marketing Manager at Hewlett Packard, she was responsible for various product launches in IT Service Management Software and managed several campaigns on a global and European level.
At BMC Software she was responsible for indirect partner management sales in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Ruth holds a degree in Business Informatics (FH) from the University of Applied Sciences in Würzburg, Germany.
